#FlyGud, Experience the Gudness: Japfa Food and Garuda Indonesia Collaborate to Serve Olagud Probiotic Chicken in In-Flight Meals

Jakarta, 19 Februari 2025 - Japfa Food, the downstream business unit of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA), has partnered with Garuda Indonesia to introduce Olagud, a premium probiotic chicken product, as part of the airline’s in-flight meal service on the Jakarta–Singapore route, starting 25 February 2025. Carrying the tagline #FlyGud, Experience the Gudness, the collaboration offers passengers a distinctive dining experience with a special menu available from February to August 2025.

Aligned with Garuda Indonesia’s ongoing commitment to elevate service quality across all touchpoints, this initiative introduces healthy, nutritious options for travelers in both business and economy class. Through this partnership, both companies aim to deliver premium quality meals featuring Olagud probiotic chicken—enhancing the culinary experience in the sky. Passengers will enjoy a curated selection of three signature dishes: Steam Chicken Rice, Honey Glaze Chicken, and Hong Kong Roasted Chicken.

Available in both business and economy class, the new dishes feature fresh Olagud chicken, raised on a special probiotic feed. These meals offer a tender texture, lower fat and cholesterol content, and high protein value—ideal for health-conscious passengers looking for a balanced, nutritious inflight option.

To further enhance the experience, Chef Martin Pradja, who created the three signature dishes, will join passengers on board a Jakarta–Singapore flight this April as part of the Chef on Board program. During the flight, Chef Martin will personally prepare the meals, offering passengers an exclusive and immersive culinary experience at 30,000 feet.

Beyond the cabin, Garuda Indonesia and Olagud will also engage with their communities through a re-cook competition on social media, inviting followers to recreate the in-flight dishes at home. Winners will receive special prizes, including a one-month supply of fresh Olagud chicken and travel vouchers for Garuda Indonesia flights.
