Jakarta, 11 December 2025 – PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA), through its JAPFA Peduli program, has once again distributed food assistance to victims and communities affected by flooding in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. A total of 40 trucks carrying food supplies and bottled water were dispatched in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia and the National Food Agency (Bapanas). In addition to working through government institutions, JAPFA Peduli also distributed aid directly at several locations in stages through JAPFA’s operational units across Sumatra.

JAPFA Director Rachmat Indrajaya stated, “Through the JAPFA Peduli program, we are committed to responding swiftly to provide support for our brothers and sisters affected by flooding in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. Our synergy with the Ministry of Agriculture and other institutions is a tangible manifestation of collaboration to ensure that assistance is delivered accurately and promptly.”

JAPFA’s West Sumatra unit handed over aid packages directly to Governor Mahyeldi Ansharullah at the Governor’s Palace. The assistance included 30,000 eggs, 50 cartons of Real Good milk, 100 sacks of rice (10 kg each), and 20 cartons of bottled mineral water. Similar assistance was also distributed in collaboration with partner farmers to evacuation centers to help ease the basic food needs of flood victims. On the occasion, Governor Mahyeldi stated that the aid would be immediately distributed to evacuation posts.

In addition, in collaboration with the Padang Office of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM), JAPFA distributed 7,500 eggs, 1,000 cartons of Real Good milk, and 402 containers of ready-to-eat meals. The JAPFA Peduli initiative also received a positive response from the Head of the West Sumatra Livestock and Animal Health Service, Sukarli, who emphasized that the company’s contribution is important for community recovery, particularly in meeting the nutritional needs of affected residents.

Aid in Aceh and North Sumatra
JAPFA, in collaboration with PSI, gradually distributed food assistance to seven villages in Gandapura District, Bireuen Regency, including Teupin Siron, Samuti Aman, Ie Rhop, Blang Guron, Keude Lapang, Alue Mangki, and Ceubo. Furthermore, through the Banda Aceh Office of BPOM, JAPFA also distributed 200 sacks of rice to several evacuation centers.

JAPFA’s North Sumatra unit, in cooperation with the Medan Office of BPOM, distributed food assistance last Friday (5 November), consisting of sausages, milk, and eggs. This support complemented other forms of assistance, such as recovery logistics, and reflected the company’s ongoing commitment to disaster victims across the Sumatra region.

“JAPFA will continue to strive to be present within the community as part of its corporate social responsibility. We also extend our prayers and hopes for the swift recovery of conditions in the affected areas,” Rachmat concluded.
