JAPFA’s Poultry Feed Export Triple in 2023

Jakarta, 30 November 2023 – JAPFA proudly announces a remarkable three-fold increase in poultry feed exports this year, totaling IDR 7.9 billion by November. This surge in sales has predominantly served the feed requirements in Brunei Darussalam and Timor Leste. As the year progresses, JAPFA plans to continue poultry feed exports until December, extending its reach to a new destination in Madagascar, East Africa.

Budiarto Soebijanto, Head of Division Poultry Feed JAPFA stated, “Since the previous year, we have been entrusted with supplying animal feed to Brunei Darussalam and Timor Leste. Our diverse range of feed products caters to various livestock, from those aged 1-10 days to just before harvest. The collaboration with Timor Leste has been ongoing for four years."

Since its establishment in 1975, JAPFA's animal feed segment has garnered the trust of domestic poultry breeders, recognized for its superior quality and service. In the face of recent market challenges stemming from the pandemic and geopolitical uncertainties, JAPFA has proactively implemented adjustments to enhance efficiency and productivity, particularly through the implementation of digitalization and automation systems in the production chain.

These certifications encompass ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, Good Manufacturing Practices on Feed  GMP on Feed, and the ISO 45001 : 2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSMS.
