JAPFA Collaborates with Edufarmers Foundation to Launch JAPFA Scholarship for the Nation’s Children Program
Jakarta, 1 October 2025 - PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA) officially announced the recipients of the “JAPFA Scholarship for the Nation’s Children” program on Tuesday (30/09) in Bogor, West Java. Implemented in collaboration with the Edu Farmers International Foundation, the scholarship successfully selected 422 outstanding students from 6,691 applicants across two categories: children of JAPFA employees and the general public. The program aims to recognize and support high-achieving youth at the high school (SMA/SMK) and university levels.
Rachmat Indrajaya, Director of JAPFA, stated, “Education is the key to developing a generation of young people with global competitiveness, who can in turn contribute positively to the nation’s progress. This aligns with the 4th Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations, which focuses on Quality Education.”
The selection process for this year’s scholarship was rigorous and competitive, involving administrative screening, psychological tests, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The recipients include 212 high school students and 210 university students from various universities across Indonesia. They come from diverse regions, reflecting JAPFA’s commitment to providing equitable access to education for children nationwide, regardless of their background.
“We are proud to collaborate with Edufarmers to create this scholarship program, which has provided opportunities for many students across Indonesia. By enabling more young people to access higher education and personal development, we hope to contribute to improving Indonesia’s human resources, capable of competing globally,” added Rachmat.
The JAPFA Scholarship for the Nation’s Children is divided into two categories: internal scholarships to support financially needy children of JAPFA employees, and merit-based scholarships for outstanding students from the general public, recognizing both academic and non-academic achievements. The program not only provides financial assistance but also includes personal development initiatives aimed at enhancing leadership skills, communication abilities, and professional readiness. Recipients also receive regular evaluations to monitor academic progress, along with additional support tailored to their needs.
On the same occasion, Yahja Djanggola, Chairman of the Edu Farmers International Foundation, remarked, “The recipients of the JAPFA Scholarship for the Nation’s Children are Indonesia’s future leaders. They excel not only academically but also demonstrate leadership qualities and a commitment to contributing to society. We hope they continue to grow and make a positive impact on the nation.”
JAPFA and Edufarmers congratulate all recipients of the 2025 JAPFA Scholarship for the Nation’s Children and express their gratitude for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to achieving outstanding accomplishments.
“We look forward to their contributions in creating positive change in society and becoming the next generation of leaders ready to face future challenges,” concluded Rachmat.
