Support National Economic, JAPFA Consistently perform Export in Livestock Sector
PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA) through its business unit in poultry and veterinary medicine sector, noted the export performance in the first quarter of 2020 amounted to more than Rp 31 billion. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, JAPFA remained consistent in exporting to boost the national economy and improve company performance. The range of products exported includes processed chicken, carcasses, animal feed, Day Old Chicken (DOC) and poultry medicines and vaccines to Myanmar, Timor Leste, Vietnam and Malaysia.

Our exports are a form of JAPFA's support for the government in increasing state revenues while increasing company performance. "
Export is a strategic step taken by JAPFA to assist the government in maintaining the stability of the Indonesian economy so that it continues to run well amid the global pandemic COVID-19. JAPFA also believes that the quality of its products is able to compete in the international market, proven by the bagging of various international certifications, such as having Avian Influenza (AI) free compartment certificate, Veterinary Control Number (NKV) certificate, halal product certificate, Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000, and also ISO 9001: 2015.
JAPFA continues to strive to realize the company's commitment in providing quality and affordable animal protein intake and supporting products, not only for the domestic market, but also regionally and internationally. In the midst of the current pandemic situation, JAPFA seeks to carry out its commitments by continuing to follow all health protocols and government recommendations to break the chain of COVID-19 distribution.
"We will always strive to grow in order to meet domestic and international market demands. With various certifications that JAPFA has had, we are optimistic that we can increase and penetrate the export value of poultry and animal vaccines worth more than 150 billion Rupiah by the end of this year with distribution reaching Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Myanmar, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste and several other destination countries are being explored," Rachmat said.
In the Aquaculture sector, JAPFA also recorded export value of 174 billion Rupiah until the fourth month of 2020. Through its subsidiaries, PT Iroha Sidat Indonesia (ISI) and PT Suri Tani Pemuka (STP), this year JAPFA is targeting an export value of more than 450 Billion Rupiah with the aim of distribution to the countries of Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, United Arab Emirates, and America.
