JAPFA with its subsidiaries Distribute 700 Personal Protective Equipment For Referral Hospitals in Lampung Region

PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA) through its subsidiaries in Lampung Region today distributed 700 personal protective equipment in form of level 3 face shield, N95 8210 masks, gloves, boots, hamzat clothes, surgical masks, and medical goggles, as well as 21 boxes of dry food for medical COVID-19 team in four referral hospitals.

Distribution of aid was carried out simultaneously in Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province Hospital, Dr. H. Bob Bazar Kalianda South Lampung Hospital, Jend. Ahmad Yani Kota Metro Hospital, and Demang Sepulau Raya Lampung Tengah Hospital. “Hopefully that the assistance provided by JAPFA can help the medical team to protecting themselves while in charge of handling patients. Furthermore, hopefully it can help reduce the curve of COVID-19, especially in Lampung Region,” said Guantoro, Head of Unit JAPFA Lampung.

This is not the first time JAPFA has helped to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic in Lampung. In early May, JAPFA distributed food packages to medical teams who were fighting at the forefront in fighting the pandemic in the midst of Ramadhan fasting time, where the food provided contained animal protein to maintain the nutritional intake of the medical team during fasting.

All assistance activities carried out in business units, as well as at the head office that have been carried out since last March are a series of activities under the JAPFA Peduli Program, which is a JAPFA rapid response program in helping to deal with disasters.
