Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan (PROPER) or Assessment on Company Performance Rating Program is an award specifically promoted through public information channels, which also reflects the Ministry of Environment's attempt to encourage company compliance with environmental-related regulations. PROPER program can be implemented in many ways and are designed to meet such objective where reputationbased incentives/disincentive are usually provided to the companies with responsible or irresponsible environmental performance. It also aims to encourage the company to maintain its environmental responsibility and adopts cleaner production strategy.
The government would truly appreciate the companies with high-rating PROPER and continue to encourage those with slack environmental responsibility. Currently, PROPER program is primarily carried out to eligible companies, to name a few, those whose operation is identified to pose significant threat to environment, those engaged in export market and/or whose products directly affect community, and publicly-listed companies.
Pursuant to Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry No 180 Year 2014 concerning Assessment Results of Company Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management Year 2013 & 2014, the Company obtained PROPER biru for its Poultry Division – especially Poultry Feed Unit located in Tangerang, Lampung, Sidoarjo, Cikande, and Sragen, as well as for its Beef Cattle Division through cattle feedlot unit at Bekri, Lampung.
This award allows the Company to further enhance its environmental performance excellence where we integrate sustainable development principles into our business processes, namely production and services operation, implementation of environmental management system and 3R (Reuse, Recycle, Reduce), energy efficiency, resources conservation and ethical business practice, as well as responsibility to community through community development program (CSR, PKBL, etc).

The Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) coordinates with the Best Aquaculture Practices to issue certificates for feed mills, farms, aquaculture facilities, and processing plants to promote responsible aquaculture practices.
The Best Aquaculture Practices address environmental and social responsibility, animal welfare, food safety and traceability. BAP certification provides quantitative guidelines through which adherence to those practices can be evaluated.
The Company’s Aquaculture Division which is located in Simalungun, North Sumatra site received BAP certification, especially for the Tilapia (Oreochromis Niloticus) product.

CBIB certification is awarded based on an assessment on the compliance of the Company in maintaining, raIsing, and harvesting fish in a controlled environment so as to provide assurance on the food produced at farms, giving particular attention to sanitation, feed fish medication and chemicals as well as the biological materials.
Through its Aquaculture Division, The Company has obtained the Certificate of Good Fish Farming Method for farms at the following locations:
Certificate of Good Fish Hatchery (CPIB) is the quality standard of hatchery system to be applied in parent management, spawning, hatching of eggs, larva/seed rearing in a controlled environment through the application of technologies that meet the requirements of SNI or other technical requirements. CPIB pays attention to biosecurity, traceability and food safety and is issued by the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries Directorate General of Aquaculture.

Halal certification is issued by the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) based on the meeting of the Fatwa Commission that determine the halal worthiness of any product according to the audit process conducted by the Institute for the observation of Foods, Drugs and Cosmetics, the Indonesian Council of Ulama (LPPOM MUI).
A Halal Certificate is a requirement to obtain a permit to include the HALAL Label on a product’s packaging from an authorized government agency. Acquirement of Halal certification on food products, medicines, cosmetics and other products provides assurance regarding the Halal status of a product for the interest of Muslim consumers. Besides the Chicken Slaughterhouse, MUI Halal Certificate is needed as a requirement to obtain a Veterinary Control Number (NKV) published by the Local Farming Office.

The Veterinary Control Number (NKV) is the certificate for business eligibility for the cutting, processing, and marketing of farm products. It serves as validation to the fulfillment of the hygiene-sanitation requirements as a basic qualification of the quality of animal origin foods. NKV is published by agencies responsible for handling a business unit or a veterinary public health body. Poultry and animal slaughterhouses are businesses that must have a veterinary control number.

GlOBAL G.A.P. is a private institution that issues global certification standards for the production process in agriculture (including aquaculture sector).
The contents of the standardized GLOBAL G.A.P. are designed to provide assurance to customers that the food processing is environmentally-friendly, and safe for worker’s health and animal welfare.
Certification of GLOBAL G.A.P. provides manual guidance for Good Agricultural Practices (G.A.P.) that applies globally. It is essentially an equal partnership between agricultural business players and distributors who are keen to achieve standards of certification and efficient procedures.
The Company’s subsidiary, PT Indojaya Agrinusa which is located in Tanjung Morawa, Medan, has received GLOBAL G.A.P. certification stating that PT Indojaya Agrinusa complies with the “Good Way of Producing Fish Feed” (Good Manufacturing Practice).
Established in 2010 by WWF and IDH (Dutch Sustainable Trade Initiative), ASC is an independent non-profit organization and a member of International Social and Environmental Accreditation and Labelling (ISEAL). ASC is a certification standard for responsible aquaculture practices towards human and environment which is issued by an independent accredited Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) as an assessor of the aquaculture practice.
In 2014, the Company’s Tilapia Fish Farming Unit located in Simalungun, North Sumatra, received ASC certificates for its achievement in meeting standards as assessed by the CAB IMOswiss AG (IMO).
Zero Accident Award is a labor safety and work health award which was conferred by the Government to the Company’s Management in recognition of the successful implementation of occupational health and safety programs whereby there were zero work accidents for a certain period of time. Zero accidents is the prevention of work accidents which could temporarily sideline workers for 2 x 24 hours and/or auses a halt in the operations, and/or damage equipment without the loss of life where the loss of working time does not exceed that of the next shift in a specific period of time and the number of working hours for certain workers.
